Mehana Daftary

Graduate Student

Mehana is an MD/PhD student in the lab interested in characterizing non-canonical VEXAS mutations. She graduated from Yale University with degrees in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry and History of Science and Medicine and she worked in the lab of Dr. Craig Crews on PROTAC development. She also worked at Chroma, an epigenetic-editing start-up. Outside of the lab, she enjoys exploring the city with her friends, going to live music shows, and trying new coffee shops.
